Syllabus

PEDAGOGY

The principal method of instruction is the discussion method supplemented by lectures delivered by business executives, specialists and experts. Discussions are intended to seek maximum involvement of students in the class room. Adequate emphasis is laid on daily reading, the students in developing self-reliance, expression and power of communication, both written and oral. Cases on Indian business environment in the country help in solving numerous managerial problems. Business game and role plays also supplement discussions and lectures.

SUMMER PROJECT

At the end of the second semester, it is mandatory for students to do a comprehensive project in their preferred area of specialization. The duration of this project may range from six to eight weeks and is equivalent to one full course paper. This constitutes a major component of the learning process in the programme.

DISSERTATION

DISSERTATION is an elixir to the summer - project to give a broader perspective to nuances assimilated by students during their stint as a summer interen.It gives them an opportunity to explicate projects undertaken by them and share their experiences which is often a melange of extreme learning and better understanding of one's respective major specialization area. A panel of faculty evaluates each student on their summer-project and dissertation.

LIVE PROJECT

As a part of integrated learning process, the students take up live projects with corporate and community in and around Allahabad. Live Projects are a panacea for students which not only give them hands - on experience in a particular industry but also a deeper insight into their respective areas of specialization.
