Prof. Ramendu Roy, M.Com, D. Phill,
Prof. Ramendu Roy joined the department in 1973. His area of specialisation is entrepreneurship. He has written seven books, many research papers, monographs and book reviews. He has guided 17 students in obtaining their doctoral degree. He has attended a large number of national seminars, workshops etc. Prof. Roy has also been member on various expert panels in many reputed national bodies like AICTE, SSC, UPPSC, etc.

Prof. S. A. Ansari, M. Com., D. Phil., FDPM (IIM-A)
A Gold Medallist, Chancellor’s Medal Awardee, National Merit Scholarship and Junior Research Fellowship holder and an erudite in his area of specialisation - Accounting and Finance, Investment mp; Project Management, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Derivatives Management, Research Methodology. He has been serving in the department as a teacher since 1976. As a keen researcher and prolific writer, he has a large number of research papers and articles published in different journals of repute. During 2002-2006, he has been Hony. Director of Agro Economic Research Centre of the Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. Of India and co-edited the ‘Glimpses of Indian Agriculture’ published in two volumes by the Academic Foundation in association with Directorate of Economics & Statistics. He chaired the Track 2 session on “Financial Derivatives and Stock Options in India” at the 59th All India Commerce Conference held at Vishakhapatnam in Dec. 2006.He has also been conferred with the “Honour of being the Fellow of Indian Commerce Association in 2006 for his outstanding contribution in the field of Commerce and Management.” He has also chaired many a session at a number of national and international seminars/ symposia of the Executive Committee of Indian Commerce Association during 2007-2009.He has also provided consultancies to private and public sector organisations in the areas of accounting and finance, resource use efficiency, effective time management and meeting targets.

Prof. A. K. Mukherjee, M.Com, D. Phil.
Prof. A. K. Mukherjee joined MONIRBA in 1979. He has 25 research papers and 2 reference books to his credit. He has conducted workshops for Defence Accounts at CDA (P) and AGUP, Ministry of Finance on communication skills and personality development. He has also been an expert member of AICTE . He also actively takes part in cultural and social activities.

Prof. M. Motihar, M.Com., D.Phil.
Prof. M. Motihar joined the department in 1979. His area of specialisation is Insurance. He has 14 research papers and 4 reference books to his credit. He has conducted workshops for Defence Accounts at CDA (P), and for number of Private and Public enterprises. He has also been an expert member of the AICTE and is also a member of the Planning Board at UPRTOU, Allahabad. He is also a Resource person at Academic Staff College, University of Allahabad.

Prof. V. M. Baijal has a teaching experience of over three decades. His areas of specialisation are Marketing Management, International Marketing, ITPP, Legal Environment of Business. He has authored four books and more than 30 research papers and articles have been published in various journals of repute, edited books and presented them at various international and national seminars and conferences. He has held the positions of Asst. Editor , “ Indian Journal of Commerce” and Subject Editor, “ University of Allahabad Studies”. He has been the Sectional Chairman in many National Seminars, was former Manager – S.S. Khanna Girls Degree College, Allahabad. He is an expert member of Academic Bodies of various Universities. He is also adjunct faculty IIM Lucknow, and has conducted EDP Programmes. He is also a Resource person at IIT, NTPC, RTI, CDA Pension, DFTPP, SBI, etc and Counsellor – IGNOU, RPTOU. 12 D.Phil. degrees have been conferred under his able supervision.

Phil. degree under his supervision. He has written number of books in the area of Law, Functional Management and Marketing Management. He is life member of Indian Commerce Association and Allahabad Management Association.

Prof. Pradeep Jain, M.Com. D. Phil.

Prof. Pradeep Jain has a teaching experience of more than thirty years. His area of specialisation are Legal Environment of Business, Marketing Management and Accounting. His several papers have been published in edited books and journals. He has attended many seminars and conferences at the national level. Several scholars have been awarded D. Phil. degree under his supervision. He has written number of books in the area of Law, Functional Management and Marketing Management. He is life member of Indian Commerce Association and Allahabad Management Association.

He is guiding several scholars for D. Phil. Degree.

His area of specialisation is marketing management and human resource management. He has attended many seminars and conferences. He is also the editor of ‘The Commerce Journal’ an annual publication of the department, since last eight years. He was the secretary of Allahabad Management Association for two consecutive years. He is a visiting faculty member of various management institutes. He is the life member of IAA, IAARF, AMA and All India Commerce Association. He has authored 4 books in his area of specialisation viz Finance and HRM. His 4 research papers have been accepted for presentation at international conferences between 2007-09, His 9 research papers and articles have been published in various reputed journals and edited books. His 17 research papers have been accepted/presented at various seminars and conferences .He has also organised various workshops and seminars. His area of specialisation is application of information and communication technology in business, organisational & personal effectiveness and quality management system. He is corporate trainer, information systems auditor (CISA), and quality auditor (ISO 9001:2008) . He is researching, writing and lecturing for more than two decades. He has authored many books for CA, CS, and ICWA examinations. He is an authority on Dr. Stephen Covey’s literature and certified trainer for world renowned training programme “Common Sense Parenting”. He is also a member of the prestigious India International Centre, Delhi.

Dr. Arun Kumar is a reader in the department. He is Accredited Management Teacher (AMT) from AIMA. His area of specialisation is application of information and communication technology in business, organisational & personal effectiveness and quality management system. He is corporate trainer, information systems auditor (CISA), and quality auditor (ISO 9001:2008) . He is researching, writing and lecturing for more than two decades. He has authored many books for CA, CS, and ICWA examinations. He is an authority on Dr. Stephen Covey’s literature and certified trainer for world renowned training programme “Common Sense Parenting”. He is also a member of the prestigious India International Centre, Delhi.

Dr. Anjani Kumar Malviya, M.Com, D.Phil, D. Litt
Dr. Anjani Kumar Malviya is serving in the department since the year 1994. Dr. Malviya has authored six books in his area of specialization viz. business environment, marketing and human resource management. He also has more than 32 articles/research papers published in reputed national journals like; Indian Journal of Commerce, Yojana, Sedme and Commerce Journal. He has guided 10 students for obtaining their doctoral degree and has recently completed a major research project funded by the Universities Grants Commission,New Delhi. He has widely travelled and has also presented papers in many national and international seminars at different universities and IIM’s in India. He is a life member of Indian Commerce Association. He was the member core committee UGAT and PGAT 2009.

Dr. Anjani Kumar Malviya is serving in the department since the year 1994. Dr. Malviya has authored six books in his area of specialization viz. business environment, marketing and human resource management. He also has more than 32 articles/research papers published in reputed national journals like; Indian Journal of Commerce, Yojana, Sedme and Commerce Journal. He has guided 10 students for obtaining their doctoral degree and has recently completed a major research project funded by the Universities Grants Commission,New Delhi. He has widely travelled and has also presented papers in many national and international seminars at different universities and IIM’s in India. He is a life member of Indian Commerce Association. Dr. R. S. Singh, M.Com, D.Phil.
Dr. R. S. Singh joined the department in 1994. His area of specialisation is HRM and finance. He has authored one book in the area of finance. He has presented more than ten papers in various seminars and conferences all over the country. Presently he is the assistant Procter and programme officer NSS, at the university level.

Dr. R. K. Singh, M.Com, PGDBA, D.Phil.
Dr. R. K. Singh has an academic experience for more than two decades. His area of specialisation is accounting and finance. He has written six books. His four research papers and three articles have been published in reputed journals. He had organised a ten day workshop on research methodology in the department. He has also been granted a major research project by UGC. Presently, he is the C.P.I.O of commerce department and programme officer of NSS. Four research scholars have been awarded D. Phil degree under his guidance and five scholars are presently enrolled under him.

Dr. R. K. Singh has an academic experience for more than two decades. His area of specialisation is accounting and finance. He has written six books. Kamal Singh, M.A, D.B.A.
Kamal Singh is in the department for more than 20 years. Her area of specialisation is Organisational Behaviour. She has attended many workshops and seminars in various parts of the country.

Dr. Rajesh Chandra, M.Com. DBM, D. Phil.
Dr. Rajesh Chandra specializes in Financial Management and Management Information Systems. He has recently completed a Research Project sponsored by Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Allahabad. He has attended number of seminars and conferences. He is the former Treasurer, Young Executive Club and Business Bureau. Presently, he is the Programme Officer, National Service Scheme, Asst Dean Students Welfare, Member Grievance Redressal Cell at the University of Allahabad.

Dr. Rajesh Chandra specializes in Financial Management and Management Information Systems. He has recently completed a Research Project sponsored by Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Allahabad. He has attended number of seminars and conferences.
